Alannah Hill Online Shop

I just realised that Alannah Hill launched an online store and was browsing through. As amazing as her clothes are, it's totally out of my reach - price wise. The last time I looked at her clothing and accessories was when I was still in high school and was in love with her 2009 A/W collection!

Fame and Fortune Frock - $183.20

Little Mad Girl Frock - $231.20

Can She Bake? Cardi - $189

The Greatest Story Coat - $503.20

Tinkerbell's Kiss Tote - $299

These are just a few of my favourites. There's no way I could ever afford that coat though! LOL

Side note: I don't know why but the pictures posted backwards even though it's right in the html :S

HAPPY 80th BIRTHDAY NANNA!

Hay! This is a make up post. On Monday I went to the USyd with Shiva so he could hand in his take home exam and so he could borrow some books. After that we went to Stanmore to see his friend get her hair shaved for the World's Greatest Shave. It was pretty amazing watching someone I had just met for the first time just shave their hair off 20 minutes later. After that, we caught a bus to Central so Shiva's friend could get a concession sticker and we headed off to Town Hall for lunch. We always end up in heated discussions about race, religion and sexuality LOL. It's quite funny to be honest. After that, we walked to JB Hi-Fi at World Square. The weather changes heaps and it was really gloomy, yet it was only 2:30pm. We walked back because I had to go to Myer to look for earphones for my mum, which in the end she didn't even want. I went to the Laksa House to buy dinner for my mum and we caught the train home. It felt like we did so much that day! I was so exhausted when I got home!

I look really gross in the picture but I just posted one so I could show off my OPI Red Hot Ayers Rock nails + Forever 21 sweater! :D

PS. The title is dedicated to my nanna who turns 80 today! :D

TOM FELTON'S AUTOGRAPH!

So, I forgot to post this.

On Monday, I went to the gym in the arvo and Crystal came over after and dropped this off for me.

Yes, that's right. Tom Felton aka Draco Malfoy's autograph to meeeee. OH. MY. GOD. I legit cried when I saw it for the first time. I literally owe Chrystal a part of my soul LOL. She got to meet him and told him how I couldn't see him and that I've had a crush on him since I was 10. Tom was like, "that's so cute!" omgomgomg *dies* Seriously, I can't get over it. It's replaced my Mac as my favourite possession. I need to frame it <3

I need to go stare at it again and hyperventilate :D:D:D:D:D

So I've finally finished all my exams! YAAAAY :D My last one was on Friday. I wasn't too confident coming out of it but I'm just glad that it's over and I can relax and get my sleep back! :) I should be back to blogging regularly, but that's if I actually have a life thee holidays. I feel like I've put on heaps of weight just studying this past week ==" So definitely the gym is in order!

I haven't really had time to browse the sites online, but this shirt looks really cute! and it's on sale!

Bardot - Victorian Shirt - $40

There are a few jumpers that I really want from Miss Shop as well, but I can't find pictures of them online :( I haven't really been online browsing for clothes or shoes lately so I'll definitely update this sooner rather than later :)

Wednesday, June 15, 2011

Woah, I haven't posted for an entire month. I was thinking about just making a sub-tumblr blog and using that for text blogs but I feel like I can't part with blogger, I don't know why. I have exams at the moment. I had Criminal Law yesterday and I have Psychology on Friday :( I should be back blogging (fairly) regularly during the holidays because my life might be a tiny bit more interesting then than it is now! LOL

Guess who has new shoes and is currently broke?

Yep, you guessed right! LOL

'Lira' - Miss Shop - $59 (on sale!)

This is my new baby! I'm totally against buying shoes above $20 in Australia, purely because I can get better pairs in Singapore for cheaper but I really wanted closed booties for uni. Last week when it poured and my feet were drenched in my flats >< So I got these babies! :D I tried them on for fun at first but they were incredibly comfy! Sadly, I had to get a size 8 cos they sold out of size 7, so they're a tad loose... >< but tolerable! Anyone have any hints/secrets on ways I can stuff my shoes to make them 'smaller'? They come in a beige colour which is cute too! I even contemplated buying them but black is the easiest to match :)

But now that I've bought these, I'm not allowed to go out, socialise or buy any form of clothing/bags/shoes/accessories/etc :(

As you can see I have a thing for sweaters/jumpers :P

Edited to add this :)

Stellar Dress - Milk & Honey - $89.95

Stellar Sleeved Top - Milk & Honey - $49.95

So I haven't posted in AGES. I've just been so busy during mid semester break and by busy I mean I've been sleeping and watching crap online :P And then, I had to chuck an all nighter for my Criminology assignment and then I got sick -.- I still am but I don't sound like a man anymore :)

I need to stop spending moolah lol. Basically, the only thing I've bought this week are stockings... which I didn't really need anyway cos I own like a bazillion pairs of stockings and I even have trashy ones that I can't throw out. Yes, I'm a hoarder of stockings lol. It's getting pretty chilly in Sydney which means sooner or later I'll be having to pull out the coats! YAY! :D I should've gotten them dry cleaned but I've been so lazy! LOL. I need to do a wishlist post soon. I haven't been trolling the clothing websites lately cos I've been catching up on sleep. According to my Psychology tutorial I suffer from sleep deprivation which affects my memory and sociability lol. I totally agree haha.

To further my procrastination, I'm going to be checking out clothes now :P

Easter Long Weekend

It's the end of the long weekend and I've done nothing uni related lol. I've got a Criminology assignment due on Monday but I've been watching L&O: Criminal Intent all long weekend! LOL. I spent Friday doing absolutely nothing haha. On Saturday, I went to Parra with my mum for a little shopping. I bought a long sleeved top from Dangerfield for $30! and I really wanted this cute top from Milk and Honey but it wasn't on sale and as much as I love clothes... I wasn't willing to spend $50 on it LOL. So i'm just going to wait for it to go on sale :P On Sunday, I went to the city and I seriously bought 4 bottles of Kleancolor glitter nail polish haha. Far too many, but I couldn't resist! I can't wait to try them all out :)

L-R: Pinky Moon, Chunky Silver, Aurora and Silver Star

Bow top + navy skirt: Forever 21, Black cardigan: Valleygirl

I haven't gone to the gym in a million years. Insane thunder thighs happening LOL.

Fringe or no fringe? (this is completely irrelevant to this post lol)

Today was a pretty insane day. I was meant to go to the Local Court to watch the trials in the morning at 9:30am. I woke up at 9:20am when Shiva called me haha. It was such a fail day. I rushed to get ready and I wore everything Forever 21 related haha, although my sweater looked more stay-at-home-asleep than court worthy haha. I was an hour early in the city so I went to have lunch at Laksa House at the QVB. It was so packed! So I killed time by browsing Myer and I came back. I realised it was almost 2pm and that's when the trial started at the District Court so I rushed over and got there around 2:20pm. The trial as pretty interesting. I realised it was in the news a few years ago as well. I hate when no one else is in the gallery but me. The defendant had heaps of family on his side and I was the only one on the Crown's side. I still need to go the Local Court next week! ugh. I met up with Shiva and Sarah at Redfern and trained it home with them. It was a heaps good catch up cos I hadn't seen Sarah since Shiva's birthday in February! I miss that ranga! I met up with my mum afterwards and we had dinner and did some shopping and came home.

My mum broke my favourite necklace so now I'm semi-sad about it haha. So I'm drinking tea and watching SVU :) On another note, I'm super happy I'm on mid semester break. I'm going to spend this week and a half: sleeping, going to the gym, watching tv shows online and doing my Criminology and Psychology assignments! LIVING THE LIFE ;D

Zara Grand Opening in Sydney!

Source: SMH

It wasn't so grand, in my opinion...

But I'll talk about my day first.
I finished my Social Science essay at like 3am when I realised the UNSW library website wasn't working and I couldn't find references. I seriously wanted to cry! So, then I decided I would sleep and wake up at 6am to finish it. I woke up at 6am to finish my reference list and to look for 2 more references, printed off my assignment and tried to go back to sleep at like 7:45am. That failed and I showered and got ready at 9am. So I went to my Psychology tutorial and we got our first assignment back. I got 18/22, which is relatively shit cos I got 0/3 for one of the questions cos I didn't refer to a scientist or something. So annoyed at myself! ==" Then I met up with Marcus cos he had an experiment at 3:30 and I was going for a debriefing. After uni I had to go to the State Library of NSW to meet Moseley and pick up books I had reserved there. I love the Mitchell Library! It's so pretty :) We spent like 2 hours photocopying stuff haha and then made our way to the Zara grand opening! Wearing wedges wasn't the smartest move. My feet were killing me!

According to the people and news reports the lines for Zara were insane! It was said to be worse than the boxing day sales! Which is definitely saying something! Moseley and I got there around 6pm and there was a line! But it moved relatively quickly. When we got inside it was MADNESS! People were acting as if it was a sale or something. I was like WTF IS GOING ON?! For a grand opening, the way people were acting and the way the clothing was arranged cheapened the clothing, in my opinion. I wasn't even able to look at anything because people were going crazy lol. I had my eye on a dress (see 2 posts below) but I couldn't find it. I don't know if it's part of the Autumn range but I really want it! So, I'm hoping when it does come out it will be when the Zara craze dies down. The mens section was full of really attractive guys haha, the only good thing about that floor :P After about an hour in Zara, Moseley and I went to have dinner in the Sydney Room which I thought was really pretty. We didn't get home till about 9:30pm.

It was a good but really long day! I'm so tired right now and tomorrow I have to observe cases in the lower court. OH. MY. GOD. I'm probably going to fall asleep lol. I'm going to see if Zara dies out tomorrow, or it might be worse because it's late night shopping! haha. If any of you guys went to the Zara grand opening, let me know how you liked it or didn't, and share your buys! :)

Monday, April 18, 2011

I thought I should share my wishlist of clothing instead of sleeping cos I have uni tomorrow haha. Most of this will be from Dangerfield because not many stores catch my eye with their clothing anymore. For example, Bardot. I used to love their clothing, now, not so much.

Concrete Lace Blonde Dress - Black Friday

Swan Lake Lace Dress - Princess Highway
The only downside to this dress is that it's $148 ==" No way can I afford that for just a dress and no special occasion to wear it too LOL.

Oh Gabie Dress - Revival

Okay, so I thought there was more but I guess this is all for now but most of all I really want that Zara dress from my earlier post! It's so amazing :D I should probably go to sleep now LOL.

Goodnight xx

So Zara is having their grand opening in Sydney next week and I honestly can't wait! It'll be the first Zara store in Australia :D

While I was in Singapore I never really had the chance to check out Zara that much cos I spent most of my time (and money) in Forever 21 and Topshop lols, so while going through Lookbook.nu I saw a few girls with this dress (the one picture above) like a gazillion times and instantly fell in love. I have uni the day of the grand opening but regardless I'm gonna trek over there after class and then go to the State Library of NSW to pick up some books as well. I hope they have late grand opening sales and I hope there isn't like a million people there either, I really want the dress! LOL.

The only decision I have to make is whether I want red or black and whether it will look as good on me as it does on all the girls on Lookbook! LOL

TGIF

Week 7 was an extremely busy week!

Monday was pretty chill. I got my first assignment back from Social Science and I was so sure I was going to fail from what the lecturer was telling us the previous week. I was preparing myself for failing my first assignment at university. Flicked through to the marking criteria and.... WHO GOT A HIGH DISTINCTION? I DID! haha, I was honestly so shocked. I really didn't expect it! It was a major self esteem boost though :)

Tuesday, my plan was to spend the entire day at the library. Got there a bit before 10am. I started writing notes for Psychology, then I got a bit bored so I started editing my Crim presentation. I basically did that the entire time haha, which was a good thing cos I got it all done! Down side, I didn't study for Psych. After 8 hours at the library, I had dinner with my mum, got home and watched The Apprentice. Wrote like 5 pages worth of notes and slept haha. Oh, and I saw Waseem, Moseley, Mansoor and Neeraj that day! :)

Wednesday: Psych exam :( It was semi hard, semi okay. I wasn't that confident coming out of it. I'm hoping I just pass! The beginning of the day was pretty good :)

Thursday: Shiva came with me to uni cos he wanted me to borrow books for him. We had a dnm on the train and under the trees at uni :) I had my crim presentation. I was so nervous. I basically made zero eye contact ==" But I did make a friend! Which was a MAJOR plus. She was a transfer student like me. I was like winning :D Then met Shiva again, we had lunch and another dnm. I took him to my Psych lecture then we caught the bus to the station. He went to USyd and I went to the District Court to watch a trial which was heaps interesting except I was the only one in the gallery. The guy was getting charged with aggravated break in and entering and larceny! It was pretty interesting! Met up with Shiva and trained it home.

Friday: DAY OFF! Had a good sleep, went to the gym and met Tegan. Bludged the rest of the day like I naturally do haha.

Such a full on week! So glad it's over. Now I can (kind of) relax for a bit then I need to start my Social Science assignment due next week! /sigh

I can't wait for mid-sem break!

Sunday, April 10, 2011

So basically I've abandoned my blog for like a year >.> My bad LOL. But I'm probs gonna start using it again :)

Week 7 of uni is total bs. I have a mid sem for Psych on Wednesday and a Crim law presentation on Thursday - which I should be doing now instead of this post. I picked the worst question out of all of them :( Definitely not cut out for Crim at the moment. Times like these I wish the weekend was long and I was still in high school :(
